The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowships and Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) Doctoral Scholarships aim to develop research skills and assist in the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting students who demonstrate a high standard of scholarly achievement in undergraduate and graduate studies in the social sciences and humanities. There are two types of SSHRC Doctoral awards available through a single application:

Candidates must receive the endorsement of SGPS through faculty selection and university-wide selection process in order to be nominated. Department appraisal will be completed for successful nominees. The results of the competition will be released in Spring 2018. |
